The Business Enablement Team (BET) within META Reality Labs is looking for a Data Analytics Engineer with deep technical and functional understanding and expertise of supply chain for the consumer electronics industry with an emphasis on global Channel Operations. Channel Operations is a function within the Customer Inventory Operations in Reality Labs that is responsible for managing and optimizing the distribution channels through which products or services are sold. This includes developing and implementing strategies to improve channel performance, managing relationships with channel partners, and ensuring that products or services are delivered effectively and efficiently to customers through these channels. Channel Operations in Reality labs focuses on three functional pillars: Order to Cash, New Product Introduction Readiness and Partner Onboarding, Allocations and CPFR (Collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment). The candidate must have excellent technical data analytics skills, such as SQL and Tableau, and have business acumen as it pertains to customer operations. Data Analytics Engineer Responsibilities:
Design, develop, integrate, maintain, build, and launch collections of data models, queries, reports and visualizations that support multiple use cases for Channel and Customer Operations.
Leads data and analytics within Channel and Customer Operations and XFN squads, engineers, business owners, solution leads, and data scientists to understand data needs, representing key data insights in a meaningful way.
Collaborates with data architecture teams to conceptualize multiple large-scale projects, while evaluating design and operational cost-benefit tradeoffs within systems
Conduct unit tests and develop database queries to analyze the effects and troubleshoot any issues.
Optimize pipelines, dashboards, frameworks, and systems to facilitate easier development of data artifacts
Mentor team members by giving/receiving actionable feedback
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in data analytics.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience working with supply chain functions within customer operations
Experience with SQL, ETL and data modeling
Experience in developing and working with Tableau driven dashboards and analytics.
Experience querying and displaying large data sets while maximizing the performance of the workbook.
Experience interpreting technical or dashboard structures and translating them to complex business requirements to technical specifications.
Experience in building internal and external customer relationships.
Experience with Agile and/or scrum project management techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in a STEM field.
Experience with one or more of the following: data processing automation, data quality, data warehousing, data governance, data privacy
Experience working with large scale data models
Experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C++, C#, Scala, R, etc.)
Experience working in the high-volume consumer electronics industry, preferably in supply chain and operations functions.
