Job Description Summary / TWC Summary:

Under direct supervision of the hiring manager to conduct cancer genetics and pharmacology studies. Specifically, Responsible for in vitro studies using cell lines or tissues and in vivo studies using animal models.


Essential Duties Summary:



  • Conduct in vitro cancer genetics and pharmacology studies using enzymes, cell lines, and tissues.

  • Conduct in vivo cancer genetics and pharmacology studies using mice and rats.

  • Operate and maintain instruments

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Hiring Range:

$20.181155 - $25.2261


Education:

Bachelor or higher degree in biomedical or chemical sciences-related field with experience in molecular and cellular biology, cancer genetics or pharmacology research laboratory.

  • Molecular cloning, cell culture and animal skills

  • Technical and functional principles and procedures.

  • Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications.

Work Experience:

Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in the related research fields.



Working/Environmental Conditions:

Work is performed within routine laboratory and office environment with no exposure to hazardous or unpleasant conditions. Physical demands are usually limited to sitting or standing in one location much of the time. Some stooping, lifting, or carrying objects of light weight may be required.
