This is a professional, part time, temporary position based in the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health's North Carolina Institute for Public Health in the Community Assessment and Strategy (CAS) Unit. The individual(s) in this position will support analysis of public comment responses received by the North Carolina Local Health Department Accreditation Program, prepare for NCLHDA Board, Committee and Workgroup meetings, and incorporate feedback into materials for the public, Board audiences, and/or rule makers. Individual(s) may be expected to travel to in-person meetings in the Triangle NC region.
Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and one year of related training or experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
-The individual in this position will need to demonstrate familiarity with North Carolina Local Public Health and/or accreditation, conduct both qualitative and quantitative analysis using Excel, and incorporate findings into materials and draft reports for the public, Board audiences, and/or rule makers.
-The individual will be expected to work independently, manage project deadlines, take initiative on assigned tasks, and collaborate well with team members throughout the employment period.
-Masters degree in public health or related degree
-Familiarity working with Qualtrics data. Expertise in Excel or Canva.
-Prior exposure to North Carolina Local Health Department Accreditation Rules.
