This Admin Support Specialist position provides administrative support to the Director of Telehealth. The person in this position will work with staff to manage relevant administrative support functions for the UNC Cancer Network. This will include:
* Management of relevant electronic and paper filing
* Provide customer support for the organization
* Management of billing, including P-card related issues
* Manage renewal of relevant agreements and contracts
* Meeting scheduling for the Director of Telehealth
* Placing supply orders
* Management of social media accounts
* Plan and organize special events for the team
* Assist with onboarding new staff
* Compose correspondence and reports
This individual is part of a team that provides crucial and timely operational services including:
* Scheduling of eTumor Boards utilizing a variety of state of the art telepresence equipment.
* Monitoring of eTumor Boards utilizing hardware and software designed to provide optimal online collaborative experiences.
* Implement and coordinate eTumor board communications.
* Troubleshooting eTumor boards. This requires detailed knowledge of hardware and software used in online collaboration, and the ability to creatively solve problems under pressure.
This position also assists with the delivery of online lectures to health care providers across the state. This individual must be well versed in programmatic and technical requirements associated with all aspects of the UNC Cancer Network portfolio, in order to quickly and efficiently meet the expected and unexpected needs our customers and the technology we use to deliver our services.
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Candidate must possess strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. This position also requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to deal with a variety of people in an effective and diplomatic manner. Candidate must be able to work independently, as well as function successfully as part of a team. Candidate must also possess strong editing and proofreading skills. Some knowledge of Zoom and WebEx is required.
Experience managing social media and accounting skills are highly preferred.
