About the Job
The Head of Strategy and Operations, Global Market Access, Specialty Care will report directly to the Head of Global Market Access, Specialty Care. The person in the role will drive and implement strategic projects across Global Market Access as well as take a leadership role in driving and managing critical operational aspects of the leader's role, including but not limited to Global Market Access team meetings, Global Market Access LT team meetings, Play To Win Culture Initiatives, Inclusion and Diversity Initiatives, strategic market access projects and core market access organization wide initiatives. This role will sit on the Specialty Care Global Market Access LT.

About you
The person in the role will serve as the Head of Strategy and Operations, Global Market Access, Specialty Care is the primary strategic liaison with members of the Global Market Access LT, coordinate with the Global Market Access community (including GMAx) and the cross functional teams of Medical Affairs, Business Support, Value and Access, Finance and People & Culture to complete the projects assigned. In addition to the types of activities below, special projects will be added regularly based upon the evolving priorities of the Global Market Access, Specialty Care function.
Ensure alignment and execution of the Global Market Access, Specialty Care key initiatives and overall strategy
Responsible for prioritization, coordination and project management for key activities; ensures knowledge sharing and alignment, whether GBU or brand specific, cross-brand or phasing of projects across Global Market Access teams.
Support the Head, Global Market Access, Specialty Care by regularly reviewing business updates, budget and highlight potential issues.
Ensure that Global Market Access has a strong connection and input into global Commercial strategy and with GTMC
Coordinate and align with the GMAx Center of Excellence (COE) to ensure Global Market Access, Specialty Care needs and requirements are being implemented.
Assist and partner across the Global Specialty Care teams
Assist in the launch readiness of new products in support of Global launch excellence.
Provide operational support to Global Head of Market Access, Specialty Care and his/her leadership team to help ensure strong collaboration, alignment, and information sharing
Support the Global Head of Market Access, Specialty Care with preparations for meetings (either internal or external)
Support emerging business priorities. Proactively highlight potential business issues to the Global Head of Market Access, Specialty Care and support him/her in addressing them. Coordinate with other groups as necessary
Work closely with Sanofi and Sanofi Specialty Care Communications in coordinating and gaining alignment for critical communication events/activities such as Town Hall meetings, and other employee face to face meetings for the team.
Collaborate effectively with members of the Global Operating Committee and their Teams, in particular, Portfolio Operations Leaders
Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field is required
MBA or PhD is preferred
A minimum of 10 years of professional business experience is required
Specialty therapeutic area experience is preferred
Must have excellent analytical, strategic thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams without direct line authority and managing within a matrix
Self-starter who functions well independently and within a team
Scientific knowledge preferred
Knowledge of Clinical projects is a plus
Computer skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, Power Point and Microsoft project) Fluency in written and spoken English
This position may require up to 30% overall business travel
