Understanding of bottle quality requirements and documentation of those requirements
Audit all production lines for all applicable Quality checks
Place suspect product on hold and audit suspect product using AQL inspections as required.
Gauging of parts using both handheld and automatic measurement equipment. Quality test equipment
includes but is not limited to the following: Calipers, height gauges, automatic non-contact dimensional
measurement equipment, wall thickness equipment, force gauges, optical comparator.
• Set up and adjusting the in-line vision inspection system.
• Challenging the vision system, leak detector and metal detector verify correct operation.
• Performing First Article Inspections (FAI) for all tool changes and Factory Work Order (FWO) changes.

• Printing Labels and Discreet Pick Lists (BOM) for all new FWO changes.
• Must be able to enter and retrieve data from our data collection software.
• Training operators on the correct method to perform the in-process checks, both visual and gauging.
• Training operators on the correct method of documenting process checks, machine issues and shift
output on the proper forms.
• Responsible for communicating any issues that affect quality, safety, or production to the Shift
Supervisor and the Quality Manager.
• Making sure there is a good pass-down of pertinent information to the on-coming Quality Tech.
• Understand packing configurations according to BOM requirements.
• Must follow and enforce Silgan Safety, Quality and GMP policies.
• Member of the HACCP team upon request
• Any additional job duties as required by management
