Job Description



Provides secretarial, clerical and administrative support for the department and supports management -defined operations globally.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Demonstrates and promotes the company vision

  • Regular attendance and punctuality

  • Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate

  • Provides administrative support in the department (e.g. opening mail, screening phone calls, photocopying, filing paperwork, word-processing).

  • Supports department's efforts on various activities (e.g. client visits, travel arrangements, obtaining and tracking financial data, scheduling meeting, agendas, shipping, etc.), as appropriate.

  • Enters, updates, and revise data for NIMS, as appropriate

  • Provide cross-site support and back-up coverage(Process Testing, sourcing requests, etc.), as appropriate

  • Reviews and proofs and prepares reports/documents/minutes, as appropriate.

  • Performs requisition and material inventory duties for the department, as appropriate.

  • Enters, updates, and revises data for NIMS, as appropriate.

  • Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner

  • Performs other duties as assigned




Qualifications




Min Qualifications:



To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill or ability required.

  • Requires excellent customer service skills, meticulousness, and ability to be persistent while maintaining tact.

  • Exceptional writing and communication skills.

  • Ability to type 50 wpm preferred.

  • Advanced knowledge and proficient usage of a broad range of computer software (e.g. Word, Excel, FSA, etc.) and database management, as appropriate

  • Ability to set-up global conferencing (teleconference, WebEx, Net Meeting) for the business unit, as appropriate.

  • Ability to act independently, exercise complete discretion and interact with all levels of the organization and clients.

  • Ability to learn new tasks

  • Ability to think critically and solve problems quickly and efficiently




Min Education:





  • High School diploma or equivalent.
