McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston , a leading academic health center, invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure clinical track Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics , Division of Infectious Diseases .

The selected candidate will contribute to the department's mission to educate health science professionals, discover and translate advances in the biomedical and social sciences, and model the best practices in clinical care and public health through research, teaching, clinical service, administrative activities, and other services.

Position Key Accountabilities:

The Assistant Professor in Pediatrics Infectious Diseases will be expected to contribute to the academic, training, and clinical programs of the Division.

Responsibilities will include participation in:

• Infectious Diseases consultation services at Memorial Hermann Health System, Lyndon Baines Johnson General Hospital , and telehealth.

• Infectious Diseases outpatient clinics.

• A fair distribution of night and weekend calls.

Qualifications:

• Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License.

• Board certified or eligible in Pediatric Infectious Diseases.
