Description: Do you have a passion for working with children, our client is currently seeking a Personal Care Assistant



HOURS: Typical School hours. start time between 8a-9a and end between 2:30p -3:30p. Expected weekly hours between 35 - 37.5



Length of Assignment: Oct 2024 - June 2025


This job will have the following responsibilities:

• BC intermediate unit is looking for Personal Care assistants for schools within the district.


• Assist student with meeting academic and/or behavioral goals.


• Assist student with any supports/modifications needed to access facilities and curriculum, including physical support and adapting teaching materials.
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• PA Child Abuse Clearance


• PA Criminal History Clearance/FBI Clearance (within one year)


• CPR/First Aide Certification


• Arrest/Conviction Report & Certification (ACT24)


• Proof of ACT 126 Child Abuse Recognition & Reporting Training


• Tuberculosis Test completed (less than 3 months old)


• 10-panel Drug Test
