Opportunity Overview:
We're seeking a passionate and highly skilled Mechanical Technician to join our dynamic design team. You'll play a critical role in supporting the development, testing, and troubleshooting of next-generation 3D printers. This is an opportunity to leverage your expertise in a collaborative environment, directly impacting the success of our innovative products.
What You Will Do:
Work alongside mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to build, maintain, and test prototypes.
Utilize your problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical challenges and diagnose product issues.
Design and assemble test fixtures to effectively evaluate printer performance.
Clearly document test results and communicate findings to engineering teams.
Maintain a safe and organized lab environment, ensuring all equipment and supplies are readily available.
Demonstrate your adaptability by seamlessly transitioning between tasks and maximizing testing efficiency.
What You Will Bring:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a product development environment, supporting engineering experimentation, process development, and laboratory testing.
Not required: An AA/AS degree with a strong foundation in electronic or mechanical theory and principles.
Expertise in using various test and measurement equipment, including oscilloscopes, DVMs, and potentially optical testing equipment.
The ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team setting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively document results and communicate with engineers.
Proficiency in PC, UNIX, and Windows operating systems, along with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
A plus: Experience with CAD software and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

In addition to an hourly rate, this position is eligible for an annual bonus based upon company performance.
