Our client is seeking a dedicated Software Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role is remote, with a requirement for a 5-hour overlap with the CST time zone. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position, offering an exciting opportunity to transition into a permanent role.

As a Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in building, deploying, managing, and driving the adoption of API-based products and services. You will work closely with engineering and product leadership, influencing our technical strategy and leading large, cross-functional groups to deliver on the team's mission.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software applications with a focus on back-end operations
- Utilize GO/Golang in software engineering tasks
- Implement and manage AWS infrastructure and services
- Secure applications and sensitive data in cloud environments
- Participate actively in agile product development methodology and tools

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably with a focus on back-end operations
- Strong experience with GO/Golang
- Proficiency in API-related concepts including JSON, REST, Web sockets, GRPC, GraphQL, and API tools such as Postman and Swagger/OpenAI Spec
- Experience with AWS infrastructure and services
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience within the Real Estate industry, specifically Title and Closing products
- Strong experience with NodeJS, Typescript, JavaScript
