Position Purpose: An RN Navigator for the Oncology Medical Group works with patients who have, or who are at risk of getting cancer. Oncology Nurses provide necessary assessments, administer treatments, and communicate with all patient care providers to help develop a plan tailored to each patient's needs.

* Demonstrates the ability to obtain information and interpret information in terms of the patients' needs. * Demonstrates appropriate knowledge of growth and development. * Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients *Assists physician/conducts treatments/procedures *Interacts in an open, cooperative fashion with associates, physicians, patients and all other contacts within the Holy Cross Medical Group and Holy Cross Hospital to create a positive work climate, high associate morale and a superb image and reputation of our institution. *
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
Experience & Skills:
Minimum one to three years clinical nursing experience. Oncology experience preferred.
ONS Chemo/Biotherapy course on hire or within 6-months of hire required.
Licensure/Certification:
FL RN license
BLS from AHA
