• Collaborate with the newsletters team to shape the future of Yahoo News' newsletter products.


• Develop responsive and reusable newsletter email templates for newsletters using HTML/CSS.


• Make technical contributions for newsletter email products: enhancing email tracking and reporting, creating email templates and modules, and improving email personalization.


• Design, integrate, and maintain solutions for integrating ads into email.

Qualifications

• Experience building responsive email templates/designs using HTML/CSS.


• Strong understanding of the nuances of email development across various email clients, devices, and designs.


• Can convert Figma designs into code.


• Predisposition towards testing and documentation.

Bonus points for any of the following:

• Proficiency with Javascript, React, and Next.js.


• Experience building HTML email templates.


• Usage of email platforms such as Zeta Marketing Platform (ZMP) or Stensul.


• Any prior experience with ads, media, or newsletters.

The compensation for this position ranges from $128,250.00 - $266,875.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
