Manage travel arrangements, schedules, and itineraries as-needed.
Prepare and submit accurate expense reports in accordance with College policy. Able to learn and navigate Oracle.
Outstanding proofreading and editing skills. Must be an excellent writer, able to review proposals and gift agreements for content and accuracy as well as grammatical errors.
Communicate with potential and current donors, volunteers, parents, and alumni to schedule visits and/or provide specific arrangements for meetings.
Excellent database management, skilled at learning and mastering Blackbaud Raiser's Edge to assist with pulling reports, uploading proposals, projections, tasks, and other data entry needs.
Coordinate mailings/mail merges, answer telephone for Development, and is responsible for the filing and daily distribution of mail/correspondence. May draft correspondence as appropriate.
Work closely with other administrative assistants in the spirit of collaboration to accurately achieve goals such as donor gift acknowledgement mailings, cross-functional team reporting, major meeting/retreat planning, and support high-level volunteer board and committee management.
Committed to oversight of ordering supplies, collaborating to keep kitchen and meeting areas tidy, and helping out with oversight of physical space as needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education: A high school diploma or GED is required. An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution is preferred.
Experience and Competencies: 3-5+ years of administrative support experience is required. Prior experience in higher education or working within a fundraising function is preferred.
High level of proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite of products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Database management and report generation.
Very effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong desire and ability to deliver outstanding customer service.
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively as a member of a team.
Ability to prioritize work and change priorities as required.

Pay range: $20.65-$23.00/hour
