Summary

Tulane University's Partnership with World Vision for the Somalia Food Security Activity Project seeks a Program Manager II for the Research Activity. The Program Manager II is Responsible and accountable for the coordination and structure of the evaluations and supporting the field team, they will work with directly with the Research Coordinator based in Somalia and the CLA Director and Sadar Institute. They will provide feedback findings of desk review research and technical reporting research on all aspects of project needs. This position will report to the Chief Research Faculty and Research Coordinator in Somalia.
The Program Manager II supports the Technical Research Faculty in overseeing the overall implementation and management of project activities. Responsibilities entail ensuring compliance with activities and deliverables for the project, including preparation and/or oversight of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting required by the donor and the University. This position ensures accurate and timely reporting to all relevant stakeholders on the achievement of deliverables, work plan progress, and financial monitoring. The Program Manager plays an important role in contributing to the project's broader objectives through development of key deliverables and communications. The position works in conjunction with the Tulane Faculty and Somalia based team.

Required Qualifications

*Bachelor's Degree in public health, International Development, or a related field*5 years of experience in project planning, financial monitoring, and grants management

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's Degree in public health, International Development, or a related field* 2 years of experience in project planning, financial monitoring, and grants management, technical contribution* Demonstrated experience managing USG reporting requirements.* Technical experience in one or more of the following areas: WASH, Nutrition, Food Security, Monitoring, Reporting and Evaluation, and Operational research. * Overseas experience in developing country contexts.* Experience in an academic or research environment.* Fluent French
