We are looking for a Civil Engineer Project Manager for our client, a well-established Washington-based firm, to join their growing team. In this role, you will work on a variety of projects, on a variety of projects, including residential subdivisions, mixed-use developments, industrial warehouses, and commercial projects. The position will be responsible for managing all phases of civil projects, from planning and design through to execution, while also leading and mentoring engineering staff as part of the project team. Interaction with clients and jurisdictions will be required, as well as overseeing project operations such as budgeting and scheduling. This position is located in Tacoma, WA.
Salary: $105K - $140K DOE

Responsibilities:
Manage and lead civil engineering projects from initial planning and design to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets
Oversee and mentor engineering staff, providing guidance and fostering growth within the team
Serve as a project manager, interfacing directly with clients, local jurisdictions, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
Conduct comprehensive civil site design, including utility design, grading, storm drainage, and erosion control
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated project delivery
Oversee project operations, including the development and management of project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
Support business development initiatives by nurturing and growing client relationships
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering required
PE License required
10+ years of civil site design experience, including utility design, grading, stormwater management, and erosion control required, in Western Washington highly desired
3+ years of experience in a civil consulting role with proven responsibility for managing staff and client relationships required
Experience in project management, including developing and managing schedules and budgets for site development projects required
Proficiency in stormwater modeling software such as MGS Flood and WWHM required
Practical experience with Civil 3D for producing construction documents required
Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and teams required
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Outstanding verbal and written skills, and experience working with staff on all levels
Excels in advanced thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
This is an in-office position located in Tacoma, WA - must be able to work onsite
