The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.
As part of the Holman Leadership Team, the Senior Vice President-Finance and Treasury will oversee a growing Treasury team that supports operations in multiple countries including USA, Canada, Mexico, UK and Germany.
What will you do:
Lead a Treasury team that supports:
Multiple industries including retail auto dealerships and vehicle fleet management and leasing
Financing a growing lease portfolio in excess of $10 billion
Supporting the financing of 76 auto retail franchises throughout the US
Funding $1 billion in real estate to support the business
Cash and Liquidity Management:
Responsible for short and long-term liquidity planning and execution for company.
Develop cash management strategies and forecasts to optimize cash positions.
Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions to facilitate cash operations.
Debt Management:
Manage the organization's debt portfolio, including issuance, refinancing, and repayment strategies.
Manage compliance with debt covenants including forecast and maintain relationships with creditors and rating agencies.
Optimize the cost of capital and ensure adequate funding for operations and growth initiatives.
Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate financial risks, including interest rate risk, credit risk, and foreign exchange risk.
Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures.
Utilize financial instruments and derivatives to hedge risks where appropriate.
Leverage Letters of Credit and Insurance Policies / Surety Bonds where needed
Investor Relations:
Maintain and manage relationships with credit rating agencies
Maintain and manage relationships with lenders and bond investors
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting related to treasury activities.
Comply with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
Additional Duties:
Supports change management initiatives impacting the Holman Businesses
Create and execute departmental budget
Presents periodic performance reports and metrics to executive leadership
Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in areas of responsibility
Create a talent pipeline, ensuring succession plans in place
Ensure growth and development of leadership within the group
Relevant Experience:
20+ years' experience at a management level; multiple levels of reporting relationships strongly preferred
Leading a Treasury team for a public debt issuer in a multi-national environment
Advanced finance and accounting knowledge: balance sheet, income statement, cash flows
Advanced asset-based lending/structured finance knowledge: concepts and terms
Advanced knowledge of banking and capital markets, including lending and corporate finance
Proficient in various technology tools including Bloomberg, MS Office Programs and Treasury Management Systems
Bachelor's Degree in a related field, MBA preferred.

Pay:
We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $501,500.00 - $789,865.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay and bonus earnings.
