Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Accountant in Beaverton, OR. The nature of the work is focused on the monetary affairs of the company.

Key Tasks:

• Reviews, analyzes, reconciles, and interprets financial results in lower risk areas with business managers


• Accountant will maintain a basic understanding of financial systems and data elements


• Assists in the preparation of management reporting and analytical tools


• Research financial anomalies and makes corrections as necessary


• As an Accountant, you will participate in the monthly financial statement close for assigned entity, division, profit center, or cost center


• Monitors compliance of processes, transactions, and balances with accounting and finance policies; Accounting and finance policies

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree and minimum of 0-1 years of directly relevant work experience Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 1 yr; Masters + 0-3 yrs; Associates degree + 1-3 yrs; High School diploma/GED + 3-5 yrs


• Working knowledge of SAP (return check), how cost center work, credit/ debit, Excel


• Looking for someone who can take ownership of their work; Needs to be able to work with high School interns

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
