Volt is immediately hiring a CNC Mill Programmer in Huntington Beach, CA.
As an CNC Mill Programmer you will:
Programming: Writing and optimizing CNC programs for milling machines using software like Mastercam.
Analyze drawings, sketches, blueprints and/or schematics of part to determine dimension and configuration of cuts, machine speeds and feed rates, according to knowledge of machining processes, part specifications and machine capabilities.
Writes program of machine instructions to regulate movement of machine along cutting path.
Revise programs to eliminate errors or omissions and retest programs to check that problems have been resolved.
This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity
The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum 5 years Mastercam programming experience or equivalent of education and experience.
Proficiency in lathe programming and live tooling (mill/turn) using Mastercam or similar software.
Knowledge of computer aided design (CAD) software.
Knowledge of computer and computer systems to program.
Knowledge of and experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT)
Read and comprehend verbal and written instructions.
Schedule: 1st shift (Must be flexible to work between 6AM to 2:30PM or 7AM to 3:30PM)
Pay Rate: $33.00 to $35.00 per hour
