Job Description:
- Position Title: Superintendent - Healthcare Construction
- Location: Broward County
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities for healthcare projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and healthcare construction standards.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts promptly and effectively.
- Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders.
- Implement and enforce infection control protocols specific to healthcare environments.
- Ensure all construction activities minimize disruption to ongoing healthcare operations.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on healthcare projects.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare construction standards and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- OSHA 10, OSHA 30
- ProCore, Bluebeam, or similar.
