This is a project-based transformation role that is currently expected to end on 31st December 2026. As you near the end of the project term, you will work with your line manager to explore other opportunities that leverage the skills and capabilities developed in this project and/or in line with your individual development plan. If you have not secured another role at the end of this project, you will be eligible for a Separation Package consistent with Company policies and practices. For Mars Petcare, our Smart Factory transformation-digitizing our factory-is essential as digital and data-driven solutions are critical to our industry's performance. We will focus on enhancing plant performance visibility and applying automation, Artificial Intelligence, IoT, and self-optimizing plant solutions to tackle the challenges in our factories where they are needed most. As the Smart Factory Deployment Manager, you will drive the successful IT implementation of digital Smart Factory initiatives across Pet Nutrition North America. Collaborating with cross-functional teams-including operations, IT, engineering, and supply chain-you will oversee the end-to-end execution of projects from design to closure, ensuring each initiative is fully resourced with technical experts and follows agreed-upon change management processes. Your role will encompass project management, change management, and technical expertise to ensure seamless integration and optimal utilization of digital manufacturing solutions.

What will be your key responsibilities?



  • Strategic Project Management: Develop and execute the regional digital Smart Factory project plan, ensuring alignment with the overall program portfolio. Lead implementation initiatives to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with diverse teams to define and document project requirements, translating functional needs into actionable technology specifications. Conduct feasibility studies and ROI analyses, providing insights to senior management.


  • Infrastructure & Capability Readiness: Ensure readiness of necessary infrastructure and resources, working closely with IT teams to support various workstreams.


  • Change Management Leadership: Drive successful change management strategies across the organization, facilitating training and knowledge-sharing sessions to promote adoption of digital manufacturing practices.


  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and work with stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities, staying abreast of industry trends and recommending innovative solutions.

What are we looking for?



  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, computer science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.


  • Experience: 3-5 years in a Digital Tech role focused on software development/implementation, with proven success in leading digital manufacturing projects in a regional or global context.

  • Strong project management capabilities, adept at handling multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and drive meaningful insights.

  • Proven ability to manage change and drive organizational transformation within a manufacturing environment.

  • Willingness to travel and engage with diverse stakeholders.
