We are looking for a Systems Software engineer to join a team of highly skilled and motivated engineers who build the ultra low latency streaming technology that powers GeForce Now. We optimize for ultra low latencies and smoothest streaming on devices ranging from handhelds to PCs, while achieving just the right balance between portability and performance in our designs. What you will be doing:


  • Drive end-to-end software development cycle for new features and actively participate in code/design reviews in the team


  • Apply standard processes in software development for scalable, reliable, and high-performance results.


  • Analyze feature performance using advanced analytics tools and identify issues, trends, and improvement opportunities.



What we need to see:

  • BSc or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related subjects (or equivalent experience)


  • 5+ years of proven experience programming and networking


  • Highly proficient in C++ and multi-threaded programming


  • Excellent system and networking software development, testing, and debugging skills


  • Experience with network protocols such as TCP, UDP, RTP, QUIC, WebSocket, or similar protocols



Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • You are passionate about gaming!


  • Experience with streaming protocols such as RTP/RTSP/ WebRTC


  • Familiar with tools like Wireshark, tcpdump, nstat, Iperf for testing, monitoring, and analyzing network traffic


  • Familiar with networking and routing protocols (e.g., IPSEC, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)


  • Proficiency in using analytics and visualization tools for data-driven software development

The base salary range is 148,000 USD - 276,000 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
