Job Description:

POSITION PURPOSE

The Global Marketing Engineer-Sales Tools will engage with internal stakeholders to grow BAC's returns by increasing the basis of design, closure rates and transaction value. This role will lead the global development of sales tools used to select, position and evaluate optimal products based on customers' needs. The tools this role will develop will provide Salespeople and the Applications team to provide fast and accurate technical support to accelerate Contractor, Engineer, and end user decision making.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES


  • Collaborate with prospective users to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into requirements

  • Understand end user applications and how they define value and identify information required for decision making

  • Develop functional specifications for global selection programs, comparison tools and output documents

  • Prioritize development activities to maximize revenue through the regions

  • Oversee all stages of development and release through Engineering, GBS and external consultants as needed

  • Test and ensure sales tools provide quantified product positioning that highlight BAC's competitive advantages

  • Coordinate updates with new product introductions and other program updates

  • Provide support for sales, including training, trade shows and training to key customer accounts.

  • Prepare and deliver business presentations and reviews for regular management and executive reviews.

NATURE AND SCOPE

The Global Product Marketing Engineer- Sales Tools will report to the Director, Global Product Management & Marketing. As part of the Sales & Marketing Department, this role will have significant interaction with GBS, Engineering, and Regional Marketing and Sales. This position does not require direct reports.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS


  • 8 years+ in B2B industries

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other related field; MBA preferred

  • 4+ years of experience in product marketing or applications

  • 4+ years of experience gathering, prioritizing and executing sales tools

  • Experience building sales tools that quantify value

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Global mindset and experience in a Global Matrix Organization

  • Strong project management experience with proven ability to coordinate projects across cross functional teams.

  • Strong product positioning across portfolio and highlighting competitive advantages

  • Comfortable working with incomplete or nebulous data/information to develop coherent and structured outcomes.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills

BAC Hiring Compensation Range $84,300 - $144,500.
