Our team is working hybrid and this position would need to be on-site 1-2 days a week in our Fridley, MN office.

Job Title: Accountant - Global Services (Hybrid in Minneapolis) 

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities:

  • Provide wide range accounting operations support to legal entities at a global level

    • Posting of month end entries like payroll, cash, Intercompany, clearing etc 

    • Recording accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices for multiple entities to support non-business as usual process

    • Preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations 

    • Provide data and support for statutory, US GAAP, and Tax  audits


  • Identify opportunities for optimization and transformation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of accounting processes

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams such as supply chain, IT, human resources, legal & regulatory affairs

  • Partner with global accounts receivable and credit management lead to assist with analyzing creditworthiness of potential and existing customers, collecting receivables, resolving disputes and managing accounts receivable bad debt reserves

  • Participate in special projects, including assignments such as system implementations and process improvement

Must Have:


•    Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting


Nice to Have


•    CPA, CMA, MBA in Accounting or Finance

•    Strong attention to detail

•    Eagerness to learn
•    Ability to manage to tight deadlines, along with flexibility to changing priorities

•    Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously
•    Experience with business partnering

•    Self-starter with the insight and vision to propose changes even in the face of opposition

•    Proficient in Excel
