3-5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on project accounting or similar roles
Experience working with project management teams or in a project-based environment
Familiarity with project accounting practices and profit analysis, including tracking project costs (tracking and recording expenses, bills, etc)
Experience with QBO is a must
Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas and pivot tables, and analyze financial data
Understand and able to read a profit and loss statement
Attention to detail is a must - high level of accuracy in financial reporting and data entry and ability to identify discrepancies or issues
Ability to communicate effectively with managers and team members
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Effective at prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines
Ability to adapt to changing project requirements
Strong knowledge in double entry accounting and financial reporting (experienced with journal entries and debits and credits)
