We are seeking a Parts Supply Specialist with strong Excel skills and analytical strengths to join a dynamic team at a automotive manufacturer located in Irvine, CA!
Job location: Hybrid
Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm
Pay rate: $35/hr
Campaign Launch/Quality administration
Fill out campaign launch forms, work to establish VIN population and estimated replacement rates, reviewing if FFF/QQK part is to be used, coordinate ordering control strategy, ensure parts are entered into the system/priced, and work with MPA to ensure PO's are placed for appropriately.
TSB/Quality Parts Validation
Represent Parts interests in TSB launch meetings, Represent Parts in general quality early warning meetings, administer increasing demand alerts process, attend recall meetings, write needed sections for and review TSB's for applicable part numbers, support parts information related activities (validating ancillary parts, validating application of parts, etc...), and responsible for approval of Parts approval of TSB launches
Parts Tracking and Customer Support
Meeting with MPA weekly to confirm parts readiness, prioritize BO's, ETA communications to the field, expedite parts, and coordinate feedback to PQ, KUS, KaGa, or Kia HQ
Work with plants and MPA on recovery actions when parts demand exceeds anticipated demand, work on any needed adjustments on publications, and manage ordering controls based on availability to maximize customer satisfaction.
