What's needed for this role?
Legal research: Conducting legal research and legal publication research
Client management: Managing clients and communicating with them to keep them updated on the progress of their case
Document production: Producing legal documents, letters, and pleadings under the supervision of a lawyer
Trial preparation: Assisting with trial preparation by organizing exhibits, coordinating witnesses, and submitting motions
Medical records: Ordering, reviewing, and summarizing medical records
Settlement negotiations: Negotiating liens, medical bills, and settlements with providers or insurance companies
Case filing: Organizing case filing systems so that everything is properly categorized and easy to find
Office support: Providing office support and performing other administrative tasks
