Our Financial Analyst should be adept at working both independently and as part of a team, where extensive communication is essential.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with program teams and management to ensure all financial proposals align with company goals, delivering competitive and compliant pricing strategies.
Use independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
Develop comprehensive financial models and spend plans, ensuring data is cost-effective, reasonable, and realistic.
Support the preparation of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) submissions and internal financial reporting.
Coordinate financial activities with subcontractors to ensure their proposals are consistent with program requirements and financial objectives.
Conduct variance analysis and prepare reports to track financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to drive strategic decision-making.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with a minimum of 3-10 years of prior financial analysis experience, particularly in budget development, financial reporting, or program control.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel with a firm understanding of advanced formulas and pivot tables.
Experience contracts with various vehicles, including but not limited to, EXPRESS, GSA OASIS, IAC MAC, RS3, etc.
Maintains current knowledge of the industry and finance trends.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Experience in developing budgets and financial forecasts to guide strategic planning.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous in ensuring accuracy and precision in financial reporting and analysis.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex financial information clearly.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and foster collaborative relationships.
Software Proficiency: Experience with financial software and Costpoint
Cost/Pricing Proposal Development: Expertise in developing competitive and compliant cost and pricing proposals that align with project goals.
