The Assistant Director for Center Operations at Crummer is pivotal in driving the success of all Crummer centers. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Assistant Director collaborates closely with the center's Directors to design, develop, and implement processes that align with the strategic priorities set by the Dean for the Crummer Graduate School of Business.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and Innovate: Oversee the execution of all programming and initiatives for the Centers, driving innovation and excellence.
Strategic Development: Collaborate on setting and tracking yearly goals, strategies, and KPIs for center programs.
Financial Stewardship: Plan, manage, and monitor budgets for all centers, ensuring financial health.
Project Management: Keep projects on track and systems running smoothly with efficient timeline management.
Marketing Collaboration: Partner with the Director of Marketing and Brand Strategy to craft and execute dynamic marketing and communication plans.
Grant Administration: Oversee grant funds and required reporting in partnership with the Crummer development team.
Event Execution: Lead a team to execute and manage logistics for center events.
Operational Alignment: Ensure all activities align with Crummer's operational practices, events, and networking opportunities, maintaining strong communication with students, alumni, and business partners.
Outreach Support: Assist center directors with outreach initiatives to expand the center's impact.
Student Engagement: Support student organizations affiliated with Crummer centers, fostering a vibrant community.
Relationship Building: Cultivate strong connections with students, alumni, faculty, and the broader community.
Representation: Represent center directors in various meetings, committees, and initiatives at Crummer.
Data Reporting: Compile and present statistics and other information to provide insightful reports to the dean and other stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications & Education:
Bachelor's Degree.
Requires 3 to 5 years of job-related experience (including project management, budgeting, event management).
Possess a valid driver's license, or ability to obtain a Florida driver's license within 30 days of accepting the job, and acceptable motor vehicle record.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working at an institution of higher education or non-profit organization.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficient in computer and technology use, capable of handling complex data sets and creating meaningful representations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with persuasive writing, editing abilities, and strong knowledge of business English.
Demonstrates initiative, creativity, and the ability to manage complex projects or communications.
Flexible, self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Superior planning, project management, and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Creative and resourceful, with strong collaboration and partnership-building skills.
Able to work independently and as a team player, managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Work Environment:
Campus-based, front-facing customer service position, working in an office environment.
Regular use of a computer and databases.
Must be able to travel and participate in work-related events (local, domestic) and work flexible hours which include evenings and weekends.
