Beacon Hill Associates is seeking a highly qualified Inventory Specialist for a 3-month contract to manage the supply inventory for our client in Brookhaven, Georgia. The role requires restocking, replenishing, and managing inventory breakdowns in a fast-paced environment. The Inventory Specialist will also document and credit returned items using a handheld device.
Daily Duties:
Restock medical supplies and ensure core areas are replenished after each shift.
Manage an average of 60 cases daily, focusing on high-demand areas first.
Learn the location of supplies and ensure accurate placement and availability.
Handle go-backs and putback processes for unused items, using handheld devices to notate credits back to inventory.
Assist in pushing items to appropriate locations to maintain an efficient and well-stocked supply chain.
Ideal candidate:
Previous experience in medical inventory management is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and working efficiently in a high-volume environment.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize areas with the greatest need.
Ability to use inventory tracking devices for accurate documentation and item credits.
Team player with a proactive approach to maintaining hospital supplies.
