As a Senior Parts & Service Consultant for Repairs , you will work across various functional business units to achieve parts objectives and work with global partners along with districts, dealers and customers to implement parts marketing activities and drive parts growth. You will be working as an individual contributor who has established expertise in a specific marketing field related to parts and services. You will lead research and provide expertise in the development and implementation of marketing strategies. The projects and assignments you will be handling are complex and strategic in nature.
What you will do:
Deliver new products and programs globally or regionally
Develop, coordinate and present training materials to various audiences
Mentor team members within the broader Parts & Service organization
Drive promotional strategy/coordination
Work with senior management in planning major programs and objectives for the Division
Conduct forecasting / business planning
Conduct competitive analysis; segmenting, targeting and positioning market opportunities to gain market share
Manage parts variance
Partner with industry groups to align strategies
Establish metrics to monitor and review the effectiveness of existing marketing strategies; suggesting necessary interventions for improvement
What you will have:
Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
Consulting : Knowledge of techniques, roles, and responsibilities in providing technical and business guidance.
Service Excellence: Knowledge of service concepts and techniques including technical understanding of assigned product models. The ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner.
Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies leading to the ability to impact decisions within and outside the organization
Relationship Management: Knowledge and use of relationship management techniques leading to ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with partners.
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
Prior experience with eCommerce platforms related to Caterpillar parts and service options
Progressively responsible job-related experience in the areas of parts sales, product support engineering, and/or commercial/operations (marketing, program or project management)
Technical knowledge of repair and/or rebuild options for machines
Go to market experience, ideally with a dealer organization or product group
Strong analytical skills are required to perform detailed analysis and prepare strategic plans.
Effective communication and change management skills
Self-starter with excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills

Caterpillar operates in a hybrid environment, requiring 3 days per week of onsite work
Travel is up to 35% globally
