Gorrill Palmer is part of LJB Engineering, a national, multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm with six main business lines which include: Transportation, Municipal, Land Development, Water Resources, Buildings Structure Design and Safety/Fall Protection Design and Installation. We offer challenging and rewarding assignments for co-op students and summer interns. Students work with experienced engineers and are exposed to a variety of civil engineering challenges. They also get the opportunity to work on real world projects in a professional environment.
Pay: $18+ an hour
DESIGN ENGINEERING CO-OP ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Work on job assignments related to area of engineering discipline focus
Perform routine tasks under close supervision using well established standards, procedures and drawings
Students will be exposed to design processes as well as various office and field procedures
DESIGN ENGINEERING ESSENTIAL CREDENTIALS:
Education:
Must be an engineering major at an accredited university
Must be entering their Junior or Senior year of college
Qualifications:
Some travel may be required
U.S. citizenship required
Physical:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Must be able to travel to various project sites
Must be able to access and navigate job sites and construction areas
