Job Description:

Schneider Electric is seeking talented individuals with a strong work ethic to be part of our Maintenance team in Smyrna. We currently have opportunities for Maintenance Technicians for our manufacturing department.

What will you do?


  • Analyzes equipment problems resulting from mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic malfunctions.

  • Installs, maintains, dismantles, repairs, overhauls, and rebuilds electrical, mechanical and electronic equipment.

  • Performs welding fabrication, carpentry, masonry, plumbing and electrical repairs or wiring associated with other work to construct, install, and maintain structures, fixtures, and equipment.

  • Performs preventive maintenance duties including cleaning, inspecting, lubricating.

  • Checks, adjusts, fits, and modifies parts for repair and replacement.

  • Examines such items as indicator lights, hand and foot controls, sensing devises, and emergency stop switches.

  • Uses a wide variety of hand tools, equipment, and instruments in performing maintenance to specifications of wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, blueprints, manuals, schematics and other instructions.

  • Installs, maintains, dismantles, repairs, overhauls, and rebuilds equipment.


What qualifications will make you successful?
  • Must have a 2 year technical degree in maintenance, electromechanical, electronic technology, or equivalenteducation
