Revenue Growth Management, Customer Team Manager

Franklin, TN

The Revenue Growth Management (RGM) Customer Team Manager reports to the RGM Field Team Lead serving as a key business partner and customer team expert for the local unit for the EDV/Club group (Dollar General, Family Dollar, Dollar Tree, Club/Drug). This position drives the strategic execution of optimized enterprise trade investment frameworks, pricing strategies, and is the key steward of the annual planning and JBP process at the account level. As leader of the customer trade architecture management practice, this role also ensures improved strategic & tactical trade terms capabilities as well as market delivery support for category value and profit pool growth with customers.

What are we looking for?


  • Bachelor's Degree, MBA Preferred

  • 3-5+ years working experience finance, sales, or analytics within CPG industry

  • Revenue Growth Management experience at a major CPG company

  • Experience which demonstrates advanced problem solving and analytic capabilities

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross functional team environment

  • Experience within national sales

What would be your key responsibilities?


  • Guide strategic pricing initiatives and alignment at the customer

  • Steward annual business planning process between customer team and internal planning

  • Co-pilot development of trade architecture execution with local customer teams

  • Drive regional and omnichannel insights & price package plan

  • Lead development and management of customer promotional optimization

  • Lead efficient assortment and SKU optimization work driving productivity and growth

  • Broker RGM, Reporting and Analytics, and customer team connection to lead yearly and monthly in-market pricing plan and execution

  • Develop customer margin roadmaps to maximize trade investment productivity to deliver mutual category value

  • Lead efficient assortment and SKU optimization work driving productivity and growth

  • Lead monthly category review and opportunity identification collaboration sessions

  • Works with customer teams to co-pilot JBP discussions when additional assistance is required to enhance mix opportunities on shelf

  • Develop annual and multiyear plan to drive mix accretion

  • Assesses competitive landscape at customer to deliver recommendations on size, price and mix
