Michael Baker International is seeking an IT Asset Management Intern to join the IT Asset Management (ITAM) team in our Denver, CO or Moon Township (Pittsburgh), PA office. Operating under general supervision, this individual will be responsible for fulfilling various hardware asset management responsibilities.

Essential Duties

• The IT Asset Management Intern supports the IT organization in tracking the asset lifecycle from cradle to grave for both hardware and software assets
• This position will be exposed to, and assist with, various systems and technologies currently utilized within the organization to support internal issues, requests, and data management
• Work closely with the ITAM team on special projects while learning fundamental IT skills
• Assist the existing ITAM Team with building software license entitlement database for license tracking and management
• Manage simple organizational license requests through developing an understanding of license usage, deployment and tracking
• Develop and maintain good working relationships
• Work in and contribute to a positive team environment
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Document standard procedures and troubleshooting guides for day-to-day operations

• GED or Highschool Diploma and pursuing Bachelors or Master's degree in related field with one year of completed college-level coursework; Minimum 3.0 GPA

• Undergraduate student who is majoring in computer science, information systems, or related field
• Minimum GPA 3.0
• Strong customer support experience
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, and conceptual skills required
• Advanced excel and smartsheet experience is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to work independently or in a team setting

The approximate compensation range for this position is $18.00 to $22.00 per hour. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
