What will I be doing?
AsComplex Senior Catering Manager, you will be responsible for developing market segments, soliciting new customer relationships, and negotiating business through proposals and contracts to close deals. You will also design creative menus and events to maximize revenue and event experiences. Your role will involve maintaining relationships with corporate and social accounts while fostering internal collaborations to ensure seamless service throughout the contracting, pre-event, event, and post-event phases.

This position will primarily handle complex social events, overseeing event logistics and directing all relevant departments. You will serve as the primary point of contact for the client and may act on behalf of the Director of Catering and Events when required.

Position Summary:


  • Organize, plan, and prioritize duties by developing event strategies and setting goals.
  • Communicate in a timely manner with internal and external clients via phone, email, written documents, or in person.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to meet and exceed their expectations.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of job systems, products, and processes.
  • Resolve conflicts and negotiate with clients while managing complaints, disputes, and grievances.
  • Influence and sell to both internal and external clients to secure new business.
  • Make strategic decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating situations to determine the best solutions.
  • Ensure high-quality service by effectively communicating guest needs and providing direction, guidance, and feedback to the team.
  • Participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as needed.
  • Complete additional duties as necessary to meet business needs.
