SUMMARY: Responsible for the storage, picking, and issuance (to the shop floor) of raw materials. Also for the receipt of purchased items and other company supplies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Pulls items from stock as required by pick lists and Addendum Bill of Material (ABMs), assembles job skids with these items.
Issues job skids to manufacturing supervisors and collects the supervisor's signature on pick lists and ABMs.
Receives inbound freight and visually inspects it for shipping damage.
Keeps records of receipts for inventory control and tracking purposes.
Sorts recently received items and places these items in their designated storage areas.
Maintains areas of the stockroom in neat and orderly fashion.
Picks, pulls and packages outgoing shipments
Completes outgoing paperwork for shipments
Has knowledge of the MRP system (Glovia).
Basic Microsoft office skills such as excel and word.
Is able to operate a forklift when necessary.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: Minimum of high school diploma or GED.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Good organizational and communications skills. Standard business computer application software required.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: Munters New Employee Orientation, Quality Assurance and Safety Awareness.
HOURS OF WORK: Standard work schedules plus overtime and weekend hours will be required to meet production needs. Scheduled hours for the preparation and physical inventory will be required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Heavy (Lifting up to 75 lbs. on a frequent basis and Climbing)
