Job Details:



This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by insuring the Supervisor's instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly. This position will also monitor all equipment to insure it is working properly and notify the supervisor of any needed maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


This position requires an essential understanding and control of the production process, accurate record keeping, and general line maintenance and staffing. Ensuring every position is filled before start-up of production line, overseeing Team Member shift-start exercises and ensuring all machinery is performing to the highest standard possible. Other responsibilities include ensuring all workstations have passed USDA Inspection, comply with all QA and USDA regulations, promoting safety on a daily basis, and ensuring proper coding of products.


This position is also responsible for providing encouragement to Team Members in order to build the best team possible. This position will be responsible for training new hires on assigned jobs and work collaboratively with Management to reduce turnover. Other duties include overseeing various processing operations and working with other supervisors in solving problems, keeping accurate production records and performing other responsibilities as the need arises.



Requirements




Must have basic computer skills




Must be able to understand and run product to specs.




Must have good written and verbal communications skills.




Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Rehire Criteria: This facility does accept rehires after 180 days and only if the applicant has not worked more than 2 previous times.
