PAY: $60-$80/k
Responsibilities:
Communicates with patients to explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures and to request important patient information (removal of metal objects, fear of closed spaces) which could limit or hinder the procedure.
Positions patients on examining table and places appropriate coils to cover area(s) of interest while following protocols set forth by Radiologist.
Enters correct patient data, anatomical area to be scanned, and patient orientation into magnetic resonance imaging equipment into the computer while prescribing images with consistent positioning and angle.
Communicates to the patient throughout the procedure to ensure diagnostic quality and patient comfort.
Requirements:
Associate or two-year degree in Radiography
Certificate in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (preferred)
Current ARRT registration (required) and Current MRI Registration (preferred)
Phlebotomy and Venipuncture Competency
Current CPR certification
