Job Duties:
* Develop expertise in material markets to optimize supplier negotiations.
* Forecast price trends and assess their business impact.
* Research and select top products and suppliers based on value, delivery, and quality.
* Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, internal teams, and customers.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
* Negotiate contracts and monitor service quality.
* Prepare pricing quotes by verifying specifications and alternatives.
* Use a pricing database to secure competitive quotes.
* Source services to reduce project costs.
* Manage item and pricing data in the database.
* Oversee supplier performance with quarterly scorecards.
* Approve purchase requisitions, ensuring accuracy and resolving issues.


Requirements:
* 4+ years of Buying experience
* Bachelor's Degree in Business or related is preferred
* CALT certification is a plus
* Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Oracle

* Pay range: $55,000 to $65,000 + BONUS
