Location: Saint Augustine, Florida
SUMMARY
This position is responsible for assisting with maintaining the group's internal control documentation and making improvements, as necessary. This position will assist and coordinate monitoring activities, assist with audit preparation and will work with others in the finance department and other departments to maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting. This position will work closely with the Director of Finance - Controller of Shared Services to ensure the monthly financial reporting is timely and accurate.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Coordinate the design, implementation, and documentation of accounting and financial reporting process controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes- Oxley, (SOX) and parent company policies.
* Drive the monitoring of controls for the group and sites.
* Prepare and track remediation plans in response to findings, either self-reported or reported through audit.
* Collaborate with sites and departments to improve financial processes and controls, identifying areas of risk and implementing mitigation strategies.
* Manage internal and external audits, overseeing schedules and supporting process walkthroughs and testing.
* Assist in gathering documentation for internal and external audits.
* Create and maintain vendor and customer master data.
* Create and maintain general ledger accounts and cost centers. Ensuring the creation aligns with financial reporting and utilized consistently across the group.
* Maintain Income Statement and Balance Sheet reports for each company code and/or profit center within SAP.
* Maintain the Fixed Asset module SAP for all US sites in SAP. This includes internal project creation, fixed asset additions, transfers, disposals, and impairments if/when applicable.
* Reconcile CAPEX monthly for all sites.
* Prepare and maintain price testing for all sites.
* Prepare the Intercompany profit in inventory elimination within the group monthly, following up with sites if needed.
* Manage the GR/IR reconciliation ensuring all transactions are current.
* Assist in the month-end ERP transmissions to parent consolidation tool (BPC).
* Reconcile month-end reports from ERP to parent consolidation tool (BPC).
* Support the intercompany reconciliation for all sites, ensuring all is balanced within BPC.
* Be the liaison for all lease submissions and reporting to Parent company. Ensuring proper transmissions to India.
* Assist in month-end closing reports and entries when needed.
* Assist in monthly reconciliations when needed.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
* ASTM F-2412-2005, ANSI Z41-1999, or ANSI Z41-1991 rated safety toe shoes in specific areas
* Clear ANSI Z87.1 safety rated glasses in specific areas.
* Hearing protection, in specific locations
* Ability to compile with JSA in specific areas.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on equivalent basis.
* Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
* Experience with SAP preferred.
* Experience with Consolidation software like FCCS or BPC preferred.
* Prior monitoring of controls experiences strongly preferred.
* Prior audit documentation and issue resolution preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
* CPA, CMA, CIA preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
* Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
* Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to read and understand verbal and written instructions.
