About the Role


Responsible for assisting in the development and administration of the Company's Risk Management program. This includes but is not limited to gathering key data to support our annual insurance renewals and budgeting process, forecasting/communicating accrual data to the Brands, keeping subledgers up to date, processing invoices, processing bonds, and generally supporting the Risk Management team as needed.


What You'll Do



  • Support the Insurance renewal process by collecting key data from Brands/Business Units to develop insurance specifications and insurance applications for applicable lines of insurance

  • Support the Insurance budget process by collecting key data from Brands/Business Units and prepare Risk Management budget allocations to Brands/Business Units

  • Prepare and communicate the monthly financial forecast for Risk Management's Insurance Budget

  • Prepare true-ups for the Workers Compensation and General Liability claims based on the actuary report

  • Support the annual Domestic Casualty audits to confirm payroll and sales information provided during the insurance renewal

  • Validate and process invoices for claim administrator, insurance premiums and consultants

  • Request Certificates of Insurance from broker to comply with Company's contractual obligations

  • Manage required Bond Guarantees process including placement, raise or lower existing limits, and payment processing of bonds as needed by 3rd parties

  • Support quarterly Bond reporting process

  • Create requisitions/POs in our financial system and process all Risk Management invoices for payment processing

  • Manage monopolistic state workers compensation billing

  • Proactively explore and implement ways to improve the accuracy and efficiency of existing processes


Perform ad hoc analyses and provide decision support as requested


Who You Are

  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently

  • Willingness to ask questions and work collaboratively

  • Understanding of basic accounting and finance concepts

  • Excellent Excel skills and knowledge of financial systems (Oracle strongly desired)

  • Basic understanding of risk financing techniques a plus



Minimum educational level:



  • BA/BS degree in Business related field



Minimum experience:



  • Risk Management and/or Insurance experience a plus

  • Finance/corporate accounting experience a plus

Salary Range: $75,100 - $95,700 USD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
