Job Summary



Beacon Hill's client in Shakopee, MN, is seeking a Manufacturing Sales Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, maintaining customer relationships, acquiring new business, and collaborating closely with technical and engineering teams. Candidates should have industry experience in original equipment manufacturing and an established workspace for remote work. This position is open to candidates located in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Nebraska.


This is a direct-hire role with remote work flexibility, requiring travel across the Midwest approximately 30% of the time.



Responsibilities



  • Sales Strategy Development: Design and implement regional sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and increase market share, specifically targeting OEM customers in the industrial services sector.


  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key OEM customers, understanding their needs and delivering customized service solutions to enhance their operations.


  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and attending industry events to expand the customer base.


  • Technical Support: Collaborate closely with technical and engineering teams to provide tailored advice and solutions that meet OEM customers' specifications and industry standards.


  • Account Management: Oversee the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach to contract negotiation and post-sales support, ensuring long-term partnerships and high levels of customer satisfaction.


  • Reporting and Analysis: Track and report on sales performance, providing senior management with insights into market trends, customer feedback, and growth opportunities.


  • Travel: Travel approximately 30% of the time within the region to meet customers, attend events, and support sales initiatives.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).

  • 5+ years of sales experience in the industrial services industry, with a focus on OEM customers.

  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and driving business growth.

  • Strong technical knowledge of industrial services and products.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
