What you will enjoy doing*

• You will manage Engineering Technician(s) in the EBPVD department


• Further, you will ensure successful completion of assigned project phases within the budgeted time and cost constraints


• Additionally, you will design and modify tooling / fixturing for new product introduction and improvement of existing processes


• You will prepare appropriate documentation, reports, and summaries to communicate project progress or results


• You must be capable of positively influencing those that do not report to this position in an effort to achieve the organization's goals

What makes you great

• You will need a bachelor's degree in mechanical, materials, or chemical engineering AND 4+ years of related experience, in thermal barrier coating operations or processes/equipment typically used in a coatings-manufacturing environment OR 12+ years of related experience. Equivalent combination education and experience will be considered


• You must have a proven ability to combine theoretical training with practical experience in a "hands-on" environment


• You must be a self-starter able to manage projects with minimal supervision


• In this position, you will need personal computer proficiency, business administration know-how, and a working knowledge of quality control systems


• If you have a LEAN/Six Sigma green belt or black belt, that is not required but a plus
