Overview
Perform chart data abstraction from OHSU’s electronic medical record (EMR);
Attend the Infectious Disease outpatient clinic with the goal of enrolling eligible patients into research protocols;
Call potential patients to discuss research studies and schedule visits if the participants are interested;
Call enrolled participants to collect information on their health;
Enter data into different databases;
Supporting team-specific internal systems;
Additional logistical support, such as mailing participants materials or filing documents.
Responsibilities
Enrolled in or on vacation from or is otherwise registered in Graduate Program (minimum 4.5 credit hours).
Qualifications
One (1) year research experience.
Experience interacting with research participants or patients.
Experience with literature reviews, manuscript writing, or presenting.
Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
Strong written, verbal comminication and proficeincy in MS Office Suite; meticulous record keeping and organization skills.
