The Marketing Manager -Royal Canin North America will be responsible for leading, defining and executing marketing and demand creation strategies and plans (B2B/ B2B2C), relevant for each channel and for all the supplements and treats portfolio in an omnichannel environment.

Under the supervision of the Head of Global Activation & Category Growth, this role will be centered around co-developing activation/marketing strategies to directly drive awareness, engagement, recommendation, conversion & competitive advantage, specific to launches for North America. This role will also have a dotted line of management to the US Portfolio Marketing Lead.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, Finance or equivalent required.


• Minimum of 4+ years' marketing experience, with brand management, innovation and strategic marketing experience.


• Previous experience in CPG preferred


• Proven track record of delivering market growth strategies/activations


• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills (Must be able to influence and motivate at all levels within the business to achieve objectives)


• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.


• Highly organized & able to manage multiple projects and priorities.


• Ability to make sound decisions, be able to stand-alone and find innovative ways to perform in an efficient and timely manner.


• Good analytical capabilities coupled with the ability to identify issues, obtain mutual agreement for a resolution and implement change.

What would be your key responsibilities?

• Drive collaboration with Global & local Innovation leads to deploy an NA centric portfolio, generated by local market insights & needs, Category leadership, CMI research, category & competitive reviews, proactively informed by the Functional Complements Marketing Manager.


• Act as the central point of contact for supplements and treats portfolio in North America, with a clear ability to demonstrate flexibility in stakeholder management, ideally with local, regional and global experience. Leveraging knowledge and insights from Mars Pet Nutrition network will be essential as we continue to build out our portfolio.


• Make demand creation & innovation recommendations and co-create competitive go to market strategies and execution plans with local and global teams.


• Deliver and launch best-in-class activation packages (where appropriate) and Activation roadmap for the portfolio for North America on time and in full.


• Lead transversal projects with relevant stakeholders, internally and externally, and be able to showcase experience in customer/ecosystem needs, pricing strategies, financial P&L management & PPA.


• Codify the key elements for success and turn them into the global activation best practice principles, to further enrich our global activation & marketing strategy.
