Manage health issues related to allergies, asthma, and immunology
Work independently and collaboratively with physicians and nursing staff
Conduct history and physical exams for new and established patients
Prescribe medications and order diagnostic/lab tests based on patient needs
Develop and implement care plans and treatment plans
Provide efficient, patient-focused service in a fast-paced practice
Collaborate with ancillary staff and management to support core values
Travel to satellite offices as needed
Qualifications
BSN with current licensure to practice nursing in the appropriate state
Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure
1-2 years of primary care experience
Strong computer skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
CPR certification and valid driver's license required
Must be at least 18 years of age
Skills
Effective communication (fluent in English, able to interpret documents and communicate with staff and patients)
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, handbooks, policies, patient care plans, and procedure manuals
Physical Demands
Regular use of hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
Frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, and sitting (clinic staff may stand or walk 80% of the shift)
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Specific communication abilities including the ability to talk and hear to converse, convey, express oneself, and exchange information
Work Environment
Moderate noise level, standard lighting
Potential exposure to infectious waste, allergens, diseases, and conditions
