Job Description:

$500 Signing Bonus
1 full-time (40 hours/week) Clinician openings working in the Los Banos TIP Program. This clinician position is in partnership with Central California Alliance for Health (CCAH) and Merced County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services. Upon completion of the CCAH credentialing process, this position will transfer to provide outpatient counseling to individuals with Medi-Cal Alliance benefits.

Position Summary:
The Clinician provides comprehensive mental health services to clients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of emotional and behavioral issues. This role involves delivering individual and group therapy, developing and implementing personalized treatment plans, and working collaboratively with agency partners. Additionally, the Clinician collaborates with clients to develop effective strategies for enhancing their lives and relationships, fostering overall mental well-being.
Qualifications:
1. Clinician I: Master of Arts or Master of Science degree from an accredited graduate program with major in Social Work, Counseling, or other related degree required. These degrees must be license eligible (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC).
2. Clinician I: BBS registration, licenses, credentials or like certifications must remain active and valid with their governing entity, if applicable.
3. Clinician II: License required (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC).
4. One year of experience working with children preferred.
5. Knowledge of community resources preferred.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Excel, Word.
7. Spanish bilingual required.
8. A valid California drivers license is required of staff who have regular driving duties, and the driving record must meet the requirements of their position and be approved by the agencys insurance company.

Essential Job Functions:

11. Ability to work and travel to various locations, including client homes, schools and community settings.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide direct clinical services to clients.
2. Utilize program specific screening tools, providing admission assessment and treatment planning for clients.
3. Provide school consultation when appropriate.
4. Keep comprehensive clinical records that meet standards of the agency, The Joint Commission and contract.
5. Collaborate with the referring agency or other community agencies working with the client to coordinate treatment.
6. Collect outcome data and consumer data as required by the agency and contractor.
7. Must implement program goals and objectives to meet and maintain contractual requirements and productivity.
8. Effectively navigate and utilize all required electronic health records (EHR).
9. Participate in scheduled peer review.
10. Responsible for preventing and controlling infection.
11. Responsible for maintaining a culture of quality and safety.
12. Effectively use de-escalation skills and techniques for crisis prevention.
13. Properly administer the C-SSRS to help prevent suicide.
14. Interaction is appropriate and sensitive to clients culture. Interaction is appropriate with clients developmental level.
