Job Description:

ACS Group is a privately held company that designs and manufactures comprehensive lines of auxiliary products for the plastics processing industry. ACS Group maintains an expansive product line, which includes size reduction equipment (granulators and shredders), material conveying equipment, metering and blending devices, heat exchangers (mold temperature control units and chillers), drying systems, and presses. These products are marketed under such recognizable brand names as AEC, Sterling, Cumberland, Wabash and Carver.

Manufacturing facilities are located in New Berlin, Wisconsin and Wabash, Indiana with a third facility located in Suzhou, China.

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for gathering and assessing supply chain data and recommends appropriate business actions to improve overall company accuracy, availability and inventory turns. This includes, but is not limited to, Class A business processes, optimized material replenishment strategies, analysis of demand history and forward forecasts to drive continuous improvement across the extended Supply Chain throughout the organization.

A successful candidate will be responsible for:


  • Lead ABC and daily discrepancy Cycle counting process

  • Analyze inventory discrepancies, assign root cause, Pareto reoccurring issues and drive to sustainable solutions.

  • Analyze exception reports such as negative inventory or usage variance to identify systemic inventory issues.

  • Lead / Monitor picking process to insure accurate material issuance to WO, SO and Outside processing  

  • Assist in the maintenance of the PFEP database.

  • Maintain item and location master to ensure material transaction accuracy where applicable

  • Perform data analytics and provide recommended configuration levels, option lead-times and component holding strategies.  Evaluate and recommend stocking level for specific SKU based on historical usage and forecasts

  • Write / Update procedures for Syteline transactions and set up to facilitate inventory accuracy

  • Maintain and report inventory KPI’s for location and dollar accuracy by ABC classifications

  • Other duties as assigned

A qualified candidate will be pro-active, dedicated, and possess these basic requirements:


  • BS/BA degree in business or related field, or equivalent or 3-5 years of experience in analyzing data relating to supply chain, planning or operations

  • Understanding of MRP logic, scheduling and order policies, bill of material structure and multi-plant planning

  • APICS affiliation/certification preferred

  • Ability to exercise independent judgement

  • Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact and influence members of other functional areas

  • Must have experience with ERP/MRP software and desktop PC applications (Microsoft Excel).
