As part of our fleet servicing crew as a Diesel Mechanic, you'll perform an array of services on light to medium duty diesel vehicle fleet such as preventative maintenance, diagnosing and repairing vehicles while ensuring compliance and keeping a line of communication open between customers and internal teams. Position shift schedule is 5 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday at a designated fleet servicing fixed site.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines and related components.
Diagnose and repair various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, engines, suspension, electrical, and HVAC.
Your own set of basic toolbox (we will provide the heavier duty tools)
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to analyze vehicle malfunctions and determine appropriate repair methods.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and environmental regulations.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in diesel technology.
WHAT YOU BRING:
At least 3 years experience as a Diesel Mechanic, with a strong understanding of medium to heavy duty vehicle systems and components.
Valid driver's license with the ability to drive; CDL preferred
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software.
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
This job will involve occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements such as hot and cold temperatures, loud noises, dust/dirt and exhaust fumes.
